Brooke Barnett is a Senior Executive Branch Manager with United First Financial. Prior to and in addition to his current position Brooke owned a Mortgage Brokerage, is a licensed insurance agent and served during wartime in the Unites States Marine Corps. Brooke was born in Reading, Pensylvania and spend most of his childhood growing up in a small town in the suburbs named Robesonia, PA. Brooke started kindergarten at a very young age in the Conrad Weiser School District. Upon graduation of high school Brooke had to wait to enter the Marine Corps until his 17th birthday. Brooke completed his basic training or boot camp in Paris Island, SC. He was guaranteed a communications position and up to one year in 29 Palms, CA. After completing his first school, Basic Electronics Course, Brooke was assigned the Military Occupational Specialty 2841 Ground Radio Technician. Brooke went on to graduate first in his class in he next courses to include Radio Fundamentals Course and Ground Radio Repair. He was meritoriously promoted to Private First Class and Lance Corporal for the respective classes. Upon completion of his final MOS school Brooke was transferred to 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion in Camp Lejeune, NC. Here he served 2 honorable years with Headquarters and Service Company and Weapons Company. Over the term of his service in 2nd LAR Brooke received 2 Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. During this period Brooke also became water survival qualified, shot on the 2nd Marine Division Rifle and Pistol team and got certified as a Range Coach. Here is also where Brooke would buy his first house. Brooke applied for a special career school and was granted an exception based on his unusually high Armed Services Aptitude Battery Test scores and commanders recommendations. Brooke then returned to Twentynine Palms, Ca for a period of one year to complete MOS 2823 Technical Controller Course. Brooke was then assigned to Okinawa, Japan for a period of one year. Arriving on island he was dropped to Marine Wing Communication Squadron 18 on Camp Foster. This is where Brooke was located on September 11, 2001 and was quickly shuttled off the island in the middle of a tropical storm to set up backup communication for the Island of Guam. Completing his duties in Japan, Brooke was sent back to Camp Pendleton, Ca and attached to 1st Forces Service Support Group and was soon after deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. On March 18, 2003 Brooke crossed the Iraq border and spent the next few months providing communications to key forces. Returning prior to his unit to Camp Pendleton Brooke separated from the Marine Corps after 6 years of honorable service. Brooke was recognized for 3 additional NAM and many other unit awards. As a decorated war veteran Brooke embarked on a journey of entrepreneurial spirit. Starting a computer consulting company Brooke found the financial world and mortgages. After working a brief stint with a larger company Brooke decided to open his own office. He continued to run this mortgage office while dabbling with other online based businesses. Brooke's focus was to create leads online for his mortgage company and that is exactly what he did. In late 2006 Brooke and his mortgage company were featured in a key article on Bankrate.com for mortgage acceleration loans. This article was syndicated across forms such as the Wall Street Journal and Local news television. A reader of the article called and tipped Brooke off to United First Financial and the Money Merge Account. A few months later Brooke has accelerated himself to the rank of Branch Manager and in less than 18 months achieved the highest position of Senior Executive Branch Manager. At the time of the writing he is one of only 11 in the entire company with a sales force of 10's of thousands. Brooke was able to acomplish this all with online leads and has become a sought after trainer not only for mortgage acceleration but also internet marketing. |
